My last Blurb book arrived! It's also pretty snazzy! I made the cover match my lj layout theme(the yellow is actually the stripes of my background), with pics on the front that I have posted in it.
It's nice and chunky too! I was about to say I wish it had page numbers, and I just checked and it does! It ends on page 350.

Snazzy new clothes I just ordered from Joe Browns! Apparently I am liking blue atm! I love the turquoise bolero, I loved the one they came out with first, but the colours were too dull. They had the turquoise and a lime green one on the normal Joe Browns website, and I was like, why can't they sell those colours at Simply Be!? And now they have the turquoise, as well as other different colours! Also loving the maxi dress, it is so gorgeous! Been looking out all year for a nice plus size maxi dress, haven't succeeded until today! And a pretty blue jumper and top just because:)
Charlotte een ordered some nice things too!
Now I just have to wait ages until it all arrives! |

Wow! Nearly 100 sales, that's quite a big leap from the 59 on Dolly Mixx last month! Keeping my goals realistic, not sure if this is just a fluke thing or something I can maintain. Will definately be updating shop again soon, have taken all pics and am in process of editing them! Also really really need to restock items, I managed to restock a few, but haven't got round to others. Have actually made a start on the clay parts. Also managed to get another wholesale order, just yesterday from Lunacy, so yay! Will be working on that all this week. So yeah pretty successful month!
Also got featured on more sites this month, definately helping with sales! My items were featured on Cuteable, Sweet Figments (again!), and Love To Make Up. |

Tallie has gone in for her op today :(
I miss her already. She will be back tonight, complete with stitches and a cone for a head. Heh. I hope nothing goes wrong.
Edit:
Not having it today, the vet checked her over- she is having a phantom pregnancy, poor thing, so she gave her some medication to stop it, and then she can go back in a few weeks time. |

Eeeh! Just sold a prom dress I bought on sale years ago from Evans, for £5 more than I even bought it for!
I dunno why I bought the damn thing, I have never had an occasion to wear a prom dress, and as I bought it online I couln't try it on and the fit was awful anyway! So yay for ebay! And money! |

Feeling slightly better today. Just about to order laptop, woo! Also had a letter from the vets saying that Tallie's spaying now will only cost about £70, instead of the £200 it was before! Which is yay, seeing as I am paying. :P It's a special offer, obvs the company isn't doing too well with the recession, but it's all good for me:)
Also saving £235 on the laptop, another special offer. :) At last I will have my own computer! >.< Do I need a wireless router if it has wifi built in? I am so clueless when it comes to these things.
Also was gonna update my website today, but freewebs has decided to take the site down for maintenence, so shall hopefully do it tomorrow, if in the mood. I need to renew my premium service soon.
I think I have arthritis too? My elbow is really stiff and sore, and I can barely open the joint up, and not without pain. It's done it before, and it is just the one elbow, and it isn't all the time. It's weird. And it hurts! :( |

Woo! This month has been brilliant shop wise, at the start I thought I wasn't going to make my target sales, but woo, I surpassed! Added on with the esty sales and wholesale orders, it has been quite nice! I'm keeping my target for next month realistic, I'm not sure if I can maintain this, hopefully so! I need to restock quite a few items, so that should keep me busy. I've also decided not to do custom orders anymore, at least for a while, I just don't have the time or inclination.
Also got featured on quite a few sites this month, think it may have something to do with my growing sales. My items were featured on Super Cute Kawaii, All Things Cupcake, Sweet Figments, and They Call It Style. |

Blah! Today is all miserable and rainy. I had to go to the post office as well, and din't have an umbrella! Luckily it's not too far. Managed to post off one of my orders, just waiting on some supplies for the others. Other supplies arrived though, these did yesterday and I got a tonne of findings/chain today. As well as a huge lot of fimo! :P
Pretty mirror charms. I love these!

| Bears |

They cured! My gummy bears are no longer sticky. :) It did take a little longer than the 24hrs promised, but I don't care! My mould is also cured now, I think. I ordered from a different manufacturer and it is taking a lot longer to cure. >.< I'm gonna leave it a few more hours just to make sure, because I tend to be to hasty and try extracting the mould when it is still soft underneath. Normally it works out okay though.
Anyway..pictures..
This probably isn't as exciting because I have made gummy bears before, from fimo. But resin comes out way more clear and realistic!

Today I have been working, for virtually the whole day. (I must be feeling motivated-lol) I made all the fimo parts for an order, and assembled them as much as i could without the few supplies I am waiting for. So that's all good, I am up to date on that.
My resin arrived yesterday, and I tried it out immediately- I made some cleary red gummy bears, although they are still slightly tacky, so hoping they will completely harden soon! Otherwise I didn't put enough hardener in. >.< This stuff actually doesn't smell half as much as I've heard resin can smell, I actually couldn't notice a smell, so doing it indoors was okay.

My clothes arrived today, and they are all lovely and good. The smaller jacket definately fits a lot better, I love it! :D I need more hangers though! :( They never seem to send them with my clothes. Mum also loved her presents, it is her birthday today so that was all good.

My sister just shouted up to me to tell me a package had come for me. I ran downstairs excitedly because I knew what it was!
Beads, beads, glorious beads! As I opened each packet I counted them, and discovered the seller had very kindly put in extras..I got 4 extra of these colourful ones, one for each batch I had bought! They remind me of ice lollies!
